know\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>sometimes people can say sorry\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>but you can tell they don&#8217;t <strong>mean it.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u200b<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>And when people\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>don&#8217;t really <strong>mean<\/strong> the apology,\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>you don&#8217;t really feel it and <strong>trust<\/strong> them.<\/p>\n<p>\u200b<\/p>\n<p>So, to make sure your apology\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>to Little You is sincere and really builds <strong>trust<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>you will do some exercises right now that will help\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>you more clearly <strong>see and understand\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>why Little You feels so anxious.<\/p>\n<p>\u200b<\/p>\n<p><strong>LIST OF NEGLECT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>First you will go over the List of Neglect.<\/p>\n<p>You already briefly saw the List of Neglect in Step 1.<\/p>\n<p>\u200b<\/p>\n<p>But now you will go over it more in depth<\/p>\n<p>so you can more deeply understand\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>what neglect may look like in your life.<\/p>\n<p>\u200b<\/p>\n<p>\u200b<\/p>\n<p><strong>CONNECT TO THE NEGLECT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Next you will do Connect To The Neglect.<\/p>\n<p>This exercise will help you more deeply feel<\/p>\n<p>why all this neglect is leaving Little You\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>feeling so fragile and anxious.<\/p>\n<p>\u200b<\/p>\n<p>Now while it&#8217;s helpful to understand\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>how you have neglected Little You&#8230;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>again try not to <strong>beat yourself up<\/strong> for it.<\/p>\n<p>\u200b<\/p>\n<p>You didn&#8217;t know any better.<\/p>\n<p>And being uncaring to ourselves\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>is what&#8217;s taught and reinforced\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>in our culture.<\/p>\n<p>\u200b<\/p>\n<p>I did it for <strong>40 years<\/strong> till I knew better.<\/p>\n<p>\u200b<\/p>\n<p>So, it&#8217;s fine to feel a bit bad\/sad\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>for not loving You\/Little You better.<\/p>\n<p>That means you <strong>care<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u200b<\/p>\n<p>But instead of <strong>judging yourself<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I invite you to just do your best<\/p>\n<p>to just see this as an <strong>opportunity\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>to just see what isn&#8217;t working<\/p>\n<p>and want to do better to Little You.<\/p>\n<p>\u200b<\/p>\n<p>Seeing you try to do better\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>is
